Live a unique experience in the heart of Rome and put your creativity to the test by becoming an artist and mosaicist for a day. You’ll learn the basic techniques of mosaic art and create your very own personal masterpiece. The workshop, designed for both adults and children, is simple and engaging: with a strong visual focus and a hands-on approach, even the youngest participants can join in easily and have fun.
Roman mosaics, made from tiny colored stone or ceramic tiles called tesserae, depicted scenes of everyday life, historical events, and epic moments, becoming true visual records of the past. Some mosaics portrayed battles and heroic deeds, passing down history in a direct and accessible way.

During the workshop, you’ll have the chance to create decorative objects like glass vases, photo frames, mosaic plant pots, and much more—freely choosing materials, colors, and designs. Every participant will bring to life a unique creation, born from their own imagination.
At the end of the experience, you’ll take home not only a handmade object, but also new artistic skills and a special memory of your day as an artist in Rome.
