Love of cooking and refinement in raw materials

Affinity - Kitchen & Alchemy

Affinity – Kitchen & Alchemy is the restaurant within The Goethe Hotel, a place where Italian tradition is reimagined to offer you a unique gastronomic experience right in the heart of Rome.

The name, Affinity, is not a coincidence: it speaks of connections – between ingredients, between flavors, and between people. Each dish tells a story, a symphony of flavors inspired by the journey, the Modern Grand Tour through Italy.

Local products, high-quality ingredients, travel through Italy, and experimentation are the key words to describe what awaits you once you sit down in our restaurant. We blend vegetarian options with fish and meat dishes, all while respecting the territory and the ecosystem.

Our Concept

Goethe’s journey through Italy is reflected in a menu inspired by Venice, Rome, and Naples. In Venice, seafood is blended with exotic spices; in Rome, Miso Cod with celeriac and chickpeas represents sustainable tradition; in Naples, Homemade Spaghetti with crab meatballs celebrate the authentic flavors of Neapolitan cuisine.

Our journey is not just a return to the past. We have drawn a line of continuity that connects modernity with tradition, with a strong commitment to sustainability and respect for our time. Each dish is designed to offer a unique gastronomic experience that meets the needs of an increasingly attentive and conscious audience.

Bar and Signature Drink List "Liquid Grand Tour"

The lounge bar of the Goethe Hotel evokes a relaxing break amidst a day of exploration, where the echoes of today’s journey blend with those of the past, accompanied by high-quality coffee and cocktail offerings.

Each drink is a stop on the Modern Grand Tour, drawing inspiration from the past—a sensory journey designed to express the richness and diversity of the places visited by today’s traveler. From the fresh, citrus notes that evoke the sun of Naples to the softer, aromatic nuances that recall the poetry of Venice, each cocktail tells a story of passion, beauty, and, above all, affinity. We have carefully crafted every detail of our drink list to reflect current tastes and trends, aiming to satisfy every palate.
