Literary Salon at The Goethe Hotel

 

The star of the Literary Afternoon is the iconic Maritozzo del Viaggio: a contemporary reinterpretation of the classic Roman maritozzo, served with a selection of artisanal gelato designed to enhance its flavour and originality.

Surrounding it, a selection of regional sweets and specialties that tell the story of Italy through its flavors, in a journey inspired by Goethe’s Italian travels.

Our Concept

Goethe’s journey through Italy is reflected in a menu inspired by Venice, Rome, and Naples. In Venice, seafood is blended with exotic spices; in Rome, Miso Cod with celeriac and chickpeas represents sustainable tradition; in Naples, Homemade Spaghetti with crab meatballs celebrate the authentic flavors of Neapolitan cuisine.
